I want to volunteer in Africa, where do I start?

I'm a nurse and would love to travel to volunteer my time, but I'm not sure where to start. I really feel a calling for this, but I don't know where and how. Any suggestions????

I think it is great you want to volunteer in Africa.

Check out your church because they have groups that go together as a team and it can be alot of fun instead of on your own.

They currently advertise a health internship available in Ghana.

There's a website that my friend and I were going to do over summer. It's a 3week+ program and you can go to places all over the world. In Africa we were going to go volunteer in Tanzania but it was just too expensive for us, considering we're still in school. I think the website was called www.crossculturalsolutions.com
