What vaccines are important for Zambia?

I'm going to Zambia in the fall. I have already gotten typhoid & hepatitis A & B vaccines. The travel health clinic nurse said I need to decide whether to get meningitis and rabies vaccines, which are more expensive. Does anyone know how great the risks of these diseases is in Africa, and whether it is worth getting the shots?

Hepatitis A and B, Check. Typhoid, Check.

Malaria: your risk of malaria may be high in all countries in Central Africa. You can ask for a prescription antimalaria drug.

Rabies: if you're going to have extensive unprotected outdoor exposure in rural areas. Such as camping, hiking, bicycling. So, depends on where you're going to be and what you're going to be doing.

Yellow fever: Recommended if you're going to an "endemic area" and may be required to cross certain international borders.

Also, check the dates of your last booster doses for tetanus, measles, and a one-time dose of polio vaccine for adults.
