Question about marriage?

ever since my girlfriend and i have been dating we have talked about getting married like two years after we finish school.but then the other night she told me that she has always wanted to wait until she is 25 or 26 and she is 19 now. i am 22. i dont want to wait that long. but i really love this girl more than life and words can describe. i can wait but i feel like someone has messed with her head. what should i do about this? i am confused. she also said that she wants to be a travelling nurse when she graduates. she is bringing all of this up for the first time in our relationship of six months. please help.

Talk to her and have her open up and tell you whats been going on. Tell her your feels. Be open, no secrets, that is the key to relationships.

kill ur mate

Darlin' she's 19. No one has messed with her head.

You're not gonna like my answer but she probably feels how clinging you're becoming. She wants to see the world! What's wrong with that? Nothing. You sound like you want to settle down right away. You're at 2 different points in your life and in what you want out of this relationship. Do you remember what it was like to be 19? you've had 3 years to grow, explore, enjoy and she's just at that stage now. You'd be better off finding someone with similar relationship goals.

Maybe she is having second thoughts and your feelings for her are not the same as her's for you. Sounds like she is trying to tell you something. Question is would you rather find out before or after you are married?

BACK UP SKIPPY! Since you started dating? That is definitely a no-no..Entirely too soon for it to have been brought up as her latest factoids point out. You haven't even had enough time to know each other..thoughts, plans...major personality traits..Political, financial or the expectations each bring to the table..SLOW DOWN give this relationship the time to develop into what it can..BTW 22 and you can't wait???

it doesn't matter if she's 19 or 22 or whatever age tt is. as long as u two is in mutual understanding tt both wants the same thing at the same time, then it's perfectly allright. but, then if one or the other is not totally commited to the same level, then there's obviously a problem. if u can wait, she's worthy of ur love, then wait till the other is ready, no point forcing someone when the heart, mind & time is not there yet. if all communication & understanding fails, its best both goes seperate ways.
