I need advice,please?

I'm a lesbian and I have a crush on a co worker(she's straight). We have this thing where we kind of constantly make eye contact.Two weeks ago I asked her if she would like to grab a cup of coffee sometime,she did not seem too enthusiastic,kind of gave me the brush off.She's a travel nurse,so she will going back to her state by mid May.
I still think about her a lot,and tomorrow we have to work together.I know this will be extremely awkward for me!

My question is, should I work with her or ask for another assignment?

You answered your own question: she's straight!!! Find someone else who will appreciate your attention. Maybe you are enamored with her, because you are unsure of yourself and are after someone unattainable.
Get in touch with who you would really like to be with by writing down everything you are looking for in a partner. Then find places where you could meet your ideal mate. Work on improving your self-esteem too. Learn to love yourself, then love will find you!!

if she is straight then there is nothing that you can do to change that, if you push then you will lose a friend, you can ask or wait for her to ask for another assignement, you can not change straight.
