Does my 3 year old daughter need any holiday immunisations to travel to Tunisia on Holiday in August?

Hi, If there are any doctors, nurses are anyone that has come across this situation please let me know. I am traveling to Tunisia on holiday at the end of August and the doctors surgery wont sinply answer my questions over the phone so I thought I would ask everyone first before I start filling in all of the forms.

No. There are no Required Vaccinations for travel to Tunisia unless you are coming from an area with Yellow Fever.

There are a few recommended vaccines, but they are not required/necessary.

When I moved from America to Tunisia I didn't take any vaccines and I was/am fine.

You can read all the latest info on the website for the Centers for Disease Control. http://www.cdc.gov/travel/nafrica.htm#va...

I do recommend that you make sure she is up to date with all her vaccines though. And when packing for your trip, bring any medications that you think you might need. We have all the latest medications here in Tunisia (we get them from France), but I understand that it might be more comforting to bring medication that you are familiar with.

If I can be of any more help or assistance, please feel free to contact me.

CHECK OUT THE STATE DEPT'S WEB SITE, THEY SHOULD HAVE TRAVEL ADVISORY FOR U.S. CITIZENS GOING ABROAD.

well it is totaly up to you and u sahould be open to what she wants and what you want for her

Check out http://www.fitfortravel.scot.nhs.uk/

if she is totally upto date with her imunisations then NO she will not need any other.

i've travelled there with young children and was informed this by my gp, plus i've been there many times before having the children and didnt need any extra immunisations either.

have a nice holiday....
