Question for Travel Nurses...? |
Can anyone who has done travel nursing, give me tips on the moving aspect...I am looking for suggestions or tips on what to take and what not to take for short term assignments? (i.e. 12 weeks) HELP.. Please I am a new travel nurse and I could suggest for you: |

As a past traveling nurse recruiter I often was asked this same question. I always answered depending upon how long the nurse was going to travel since like you said they are usually 13 week assig... Depending on where in Alaska you want to get a nursing job, We have numerous Hospitals with thier own websites, such as Providence, and Alaska Reginial ( spelling is off) Or you can go to this we... It is hard to day. I would say it all depends on the area you are in. Checking with local agencies to see what the demand for nurses are in that area. I am a carpenter in my area and we are near... Hmm... Think this might be what you need. Take a look and see. ... Travel nursing can be really wonderful if you get in with the right agency, who staffs for good, reputable facilities.
