Travel nursing rights?

I've been working as a travel nurse for the past six months with an agency that provided me with housing. After the contract with the hospital they situated me with expired the agency has been unable to find me a new job. Now their threatening to throw me out of the apartment with my two kids without a job or place to go. My recruiter has also indicated that if I dont leave the apartment soon they will cut off the electricity and/or water service. Can the agency get away with this? Do travel nurses have any rights whatsoever?

What does your contract with the agency state? Did you sign any kind of employment agreement with the agency or hospital that allowed housing to continue once the contract expired? If not then you probably will have to move out, and soon. Since this is a contract position you need to read through the contract and see what they say about it.

May try asking this question in Law Enforcement, they might know.
