Should we use renewable resources or not and let our plant have another ice age in 50 years????????????

I think we should use solar engery & other things. we should also have a wind fram in the ocean.. who cares if it dosent look pretty. I will still be alive and dont want to go into another ice age or have water cover more than 1/3 of the plant. So i say lets use renewable rescourse because no one want to die in the next 50 year thanks to golble warming .I also think it would be better so we have no more or less polution.So we dont kill any animals any more....

We should use renewable energy, we cant have the possibility 0f having another ice age.. because of the pollution created by us.. so renewable energy is the only way.. no other go..

Well kid think of this. I don't think it's going to be global warming that kills us off in the next fifty years. I think it is going to be nuclear war. More than likely we will go into a war of these measures within the next 5 - 10 years. So you don't have to worry about fifty years from now. You need to worry about right now. It's going to be another iceage alright, only in the form of nuclear winter.

Well let set the record straight. The production of CO2 is not a pollutant. The fossil fuels are renewable source of energy. I can prove it to u. How long do u think our fuels will last?? Would u believe that we will never run short on fossil fuels ,see if u can follow this. Think of the earth more as a space ship traveling through space , with a system that will sustain all of us.
The CO2 is the secrete not the problem ,follow this. The plants take in CO2 and give us oxygen and has for millions of years. The CO2 and water,and sunlight makes food for plants. The process is called photosynthesis.
Now to the renewal fossil fuels, as the plants die and there leaves fall off and wash down the rivers to the delta where it degrades to become oil,gas.and after some time coal.
The process never ends and we may be short on some things but there is plenty ,we may need to burn coal but it will all process and accelerate plant growth and the cycle starts again.

I agree! We should use as many earth friendly sources of energy and try to repair some of the damage we have done. However, I think we have to accept that the earth is going through a natural cycle (that we probably sped up with polution) and we need some of the extremely clever people to come up with some fast solutions that might slow down or change the cycle. There are going to be alot of natural disaster refugees in the next few years. People have debt and personal problems and the economy is going to be shaken up badly. We should all think of the things we can do individually. People who can afford to spend money on new cars and equipment that is environment-friendly should be encouraged by the governments of the world. In this situation we really need the wealthy people to step up to the plate and spend their money for the good of all. Instead of gifts this holiday people should be saving for the future and helping other people who are less fortunate. Instead of fighting, the people of the world should unite and help one another.
