Kitten is getting worse?

i know that i need to take him to the vet but i have no money and they refuse to see him without money up front. there are no organizations here that will pay for a vet visit either. i live in a small town. please understand taht. i took him in because no one else would have and i wanted to try to take care of him. He still will not eat. i have tried everything. tuna, milk replacement....
the only way he eats is forcing the milk into his mouth, then he will swallow. he had this knot on his left him that ruptured sometime in the night, it looks really bad and a lot of infection came out of it and still is. u can see back in the hole, its really deep, and i am very worried. he is very unhealthy. i gave him a bath and put some anti-biotic ointment around the wound. does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be wrong with him and what i could do to help him? the humane society around here will just put him to sleep. maybe that is for the best but i still wish that he'll get better

It sounds to me like he has had a abscess and if it is that and its infected your cat WILL die without veterinary help the toxins from the abscess will go into his blood. If you cant afford the meds then you need to get him put to sleep if you leave him he will die in a lot of pain.

im really sorry to say this but your cat right now is in a lot of pain and if you cant afford vet assistance, i think it might be best for him to be put down. what he is going through is extremly painful and has to be miserable. i know its hard but i do think it is whats best for him. im sorry.

Couldnt you get in touch with the humane society and tell them of your situation? I am sure they will be able to help your kitten in view of your circumstances, they wouldnt put a kitten down if they knew he had a carer. Wish you luck.

it sounds like he has crystals
and you might be able to save him if you get him help FAST
borrow money from a neighbor or your parents etc..
and get that cat to the vet

Borrow money from someone and see what the vet will determine. or you can bring up the delema at the local animal shelter and see if they can help you. if there is still no help, and the kitten is still suffereing(as well as starving to death) he may have to be put down. I;m sorry you have this delema. There ought to be a law against people giving sick animals away to others and dumping the responsiblitiies in their laps. Sounds like the former owner did that to you.

please, do all you can. i hate it when animals are in pain. it breaks me heart, literally. ;.( take him to a vet out side of the town if you have to. anyone with an animal heart would [no obligations] He might have been hit by a car or attacked. if you cant get to a vet than putting him down may be the best option. without medical care he would die a painful death. please heed me words and do absolutly all you can for him. i would rather have him put down than in pain. i'm a true animal lover.D'> please, for his sake. i'm almost in tears

Please don't give your cat milk. Milk will dehydrate him and kill him... Give him Pedyalite instead.
