Cut On My heel?

I was at BJJ ( Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ) class and cut my heel on the corner of a wall. It's been less than 24 hours, but my wound has not clotted. The cut is about 3 inches long, half an inch wide, and pretty deep. I'm not a diabetic, and I'm in decent shape. How long should it go before clotting? I've been taking really good care of it, washing it every night, keeping a antibiotic band-aid on it, and even putting athletic tape over it so the band aid will stay in place. I'm kind've worried about it not clotting, is there any help, or advice anyone can offer on what I can, and should do?!?!?

You should go to your doctor and get stitches, or at least butterfly clips to close the wound together so it will heal right and clot easier. It really does sound like it requires stitches if it's not clotting properly by now, clots usually set in within the hour.

Definitely go see a doctor or urgent care. Wounds should clot, and since feet often don't get good circulation, infection is more of a risk on feet. It sounds like you're taking good care of the wound, so keep it up. But get into a doctor today.
