Anyone else enjoy watching Ramseys Kitchen Nightmares from the US or is it just me?

God the Americans are so easily wound up ..... quite funny that they all want to commit physical violence on Gordon at the start lol.

Of course he always saves the day in the end (thanks to his production crew obviously telling everyone in town that Michelin star chef Ramsey is cooking in that restaurant so everyone shows up for the novelty value and then of course once Ramsey leaves, the places all head back south in revenue terms again, but by that time Ramsey has already looked like he's saved the day, so what does he care?)

I watch it every week. Last night the man was so arrogant even though he was about to loose his restaurant and his home. Its great to see Gordon losing his temper with them and then they have to admit that he was right all along.

i would liken cooking to trainspotting... i dont really enjoy trainspotting, so the last thing i'd want to do is watch people spot trains

Yes....last weeks was the best so far.....brilliant, however, did like the look of the steakhouse last night, looked lovely by the time Gordon finished with it.....

I love it ! The guy is passionate about food and so he should be. Going from a pro footballer to a Michelin star chef is a great achievement. I wish all restaurateurs cared as much as he does. It is obviously set up to a degree, but still great entertainment.

I love it, but all documentaries are sooo staged.

Just watch next time the camera shows someone being followed up the garden path to a front door. Then suddenly it's inside as the door opens, and the opener is surprised to see who's at the door! But surely they just let the camera crew in!

Likewise we see someone answering their mobile. Oh! It's Gillian McKeith! <squeals of surprise>. That must be why there's a camera crew in my sitting room today. I *knew* there must be a reason.

i love it.it makes me laugh even if it is cringe worthy tv.next weeks looks good,makes an otherwise wednesday nights tv interesting.

No, I like the British version, the American one is edited for the American market which makes it annoying to watch.
If they had re edited and produced it like the original version it would have been fantastic

I LOVE IT! he has a strange thing about him where people really want his approval.... but i genuinely think he cares for them and is spot on with everything he does.

Alot of them know the problems before he comes in. i.e. staff etc.

I enjoy it, largely because a lot of the US chefs are so arrogant that they won't take any sort of critisism.

Ramsay might be a bit of a bully, but he tells it like it is.

I quite enjoy him and know that he has gone back to the restaurants that he has turned around, and the majority have prospered.
I think some of his kitchen antics are deplorable, but that is what has made the programs he makes so popular.
He is a first class chef and is entitled to be respected, they don't hand out Michelin stars unless they met the standards set by some of the culinary masters.

I think its spot on, how Ramsay doesnt flatten some of them is beyond me. Next weeks looks good, did you see the state of the kitchen it was disgusting, bugs crawling all over the place. I reakon he will have his work cut out turning that place around.

I love watching it. It can be so funny sometimes. Its a wonder some of those places were open in the first place though the condition the food was kept in! :)

i think it is brill me and my daughter watch it and we pure laugh at the way gordon lets it rip with the chefs and managers man that guy is class pure class i watch all his progs and his wife is good cook to she might end up getting her own programme. tell you what he played for rangers football club the team i support many many years ago and had to give up as he got a injury. And another thing he is handsome. He is scottish like me and proud of it.

Gordon Ramsay annoys me too though. He is so smarmy and if he swore at me for real like he speaks to his staff. I would be walking out right away. I dont like him.
