Should i still try to have a relationship with my half sister she is a b#$$#. She found me now she wont talk.?

I met her 4 years ago over the phone. we wrote each other about twice a week for a year. She sometimes shady saying that she was going threw something and she would get back to me later. She lives 2hours away,i went to see her and we went to dinner and a movie. i thought that we had a good time so i told her the next time we get together that i wound pay. never had a next time i think she is a flake one day she is cool the next day she is moody. I sent her a check and she promply cashed it. I have worte her several times called her also asked if i can help her with anything no response.called her the other day to see how she was she told me that she did not have a sister and hung up should i still try to be there or should i give up. I grew up with my father and she didnot she grew up in fosters homes. It was not my fault that my father never knew her if he had know he would have took care of her also. She is done with her family and also changed her name. Why She wont talk to me.

My father passed years before we met. Her mom and my dad were just teenagers when they had her.

She sounds as if she has a chemical imbalance. I know that sounds mean, but it sounds as if she needs medical attention. She may not even know what her name is. Just let her be, but don't think she won't be calling for money or favors sometime soon. I wonder what your dad knows about her and her mother?
