Breakup help?

okay. I'm like a doormanager/secretary for a small local business. i get to see people enter, sign in, sign out. tick of forms say hello etc. anyway, this woman was like really uphappy and head-up. As she left I said is everything okay. She said she'd just broken up. I felt so bad because i didn't know what to say. I just went oh, and then, I'm sorry, i've never been in that situation before, I really don't know what to say. And she was okay. I just said take care of yourself and have a cup of tea when you go home. and so she was pretty wound up. i don't know. anyway, i'll see her again when she next comes in the building. What should I say? I think it'd be insensitive of me to just say HI and BYE and how are you? Btw I'm a bloke and so no one really expects girlie girlie talk from me (and I'm teenager).

Just say hi, call her by name if she gave it, and wish her that things are doing better then last time, its just a small thing but shows that you remember her and not just her face that will help a bit, she probably doesn't want too much more then that anyway cos she really doesn't know you

tell her to try and go out on a day date with some of her girlfriends to try and ease up on some of the pain.

tell her that she looks beautiful and gorgeous, that usually makes people feel better after a break-up.

Just say " well hows the form with ya since" or just talk about normal things like the weather etc

you should say oh i'm sorry why did you guys break up. and ask her if she needs somoeone to talk to about it

well there really isnt anything u could say to make her feel better. haha i really dont know since your a guy. but if it was me id be like, hes a jerk, u can do wayyy better than him anyways
