Letting Go?

After my father died my older sister took everything of value, My father was meticulous about wills, records and paying his bills, however she claims there was no will. And she claimed he owed money, if you knew my Dad you'd know this was such bullshit. But I didn't care about money or anything else, I lost my Dad. Anyways, after he died she wound up breaking up with her B/F/ and had no where to go, so I took her in. And not long after I did she got into a fight with her x and got arrested. Guess who bailed her out? About a month later she moved in with some guy and left my china cabinet behind. It had been given to me yrs ago by my father, but as I was renting I asked if she could keep it at her place til I was settled in my own home. Anyways, she left it with me which worked out good I thought, she then started claiming it was hers. And said if I didn't give it back I was DEAD to the family.And whatever she said to all of them, it worked. No one will talk to me now. How do u deal?

My family is the same way.

I'd say, "Fine. Be that way. And when you're in trouble, don't come knocking at my door for help, because you won't get any."

But that's just me.

Don't let people who act like kids run your life.

My whole extended family hates us now for things we didn't do, and for greed, just as in your case.

I hadn't spoke to my family for over 17 yrs(i loved it,plus i had less gray hair than them),now i do and it's a pain in the butt,yrs ago,they used up my money then wanted nothing to do with me,so to me,my children and my close friends are my family.
