How do I get my bf to go to the dentist?

He is disgusting. He didn't have dental insurance for a few years so he pretty much stopped going to the dentist. Then he wound up with a huge dental debt after he decided to go again. So now he just won't go. He had one emergency where they had to pull out an infected tooth that they couldn't save. I made all the phone calls and did all the leg work to get him into see a dentist on a Saturday.

He was not the least bit phased by losing a tooth. I was like doesn't it bother your that you are losing part of yourself??? He doesn't even care.

PS he does have dental insurance now

I know somebody like that. It doesn't seem to be a priority for them either. I think you just have to tell him that your concerned about his health. Because it could lead to more problems & $$$$ isn't the issue anymore ;) Good Luck :)

eww disgusting, maybe hes scared of the dentist? or is it just laziness? I dont think its whether he doesnt care more then likely the amount it costs. Give him the facts of lack of dentistry the smell that eminates when you talk to others the look of your teeth when you talk, and for you when you kiss him and are intimate and the smell he exudes, which is worse after sleeping.

Just say "Good bye"! For Goodness sakes, do not kiss him good bye. Why would you even consider staying with someone you call disgusting.
I would say anyone that cares that little for their personal hygiene is either an alcoholic on a drug addict. RUN RUN !!

tell him ur taking him somewhere special and end up at the dentist. confort him as he gets his teeth worked on. make him feel like he has a reason to be there. if in case he gave up on himself
