unaffordable for citizens. If somebody goes to the emergecy room because they are illegal...guess what?...that costs more than a clinic. If you think illegals have no affect on the health care system that is like saying the wind has no effect on the ocean.

By the way if you go to a clinic doctors ask for ID and they have the right to ask for social security number and if they suspect that you are illegal they are OBLIGATED to call immigration.In hospitals they don't do that.So again - is the way your system is designed

last time I checked Health care sucked b/c all the dr's are out for $ and insurance plans suck and people don't make enough to pay medical costs. I'm a US citizen and I can't hardly pay for my health care either, so how is that the immigrants fault, maybe the medical community should be better at managing their $. I've never seen a doctor that was poor and yet the hospitals close b/c they say they have not money, maybe doctors should not expect so much pay and the hospitals could profit more.

Ok our system was not designed for ILLEGALs to come and use it. It was designed to help the needy. The creators of the system did not realize that we would have a huge immigration problem, and that they would then take advantage of the system. They use the hospitals like a clinic because they don't care, and they will not pay for them, which rasies our insurance rates and medical bills.

simple answer, they don't care. Illegal immegrants don't want to take the steps needed to be legal citizens.

Look how many millions of our ancestors came to this country legally. My grandparents came over with three dollars and worked hard and EARNED everything. They started a business and did everything legally. It wasn't easy but they wanted the real "american dream".
