Moles removed from back: Follow up care? |
Within the last 5 days, I had 2 moles (dime sized) removed from my back. I am experiencing some pain (stinging, sorenes), but the sites where the moles were removed are solid white with a bright red ring around them. I was told to stick with Vaseline and bandages, and to stay away from Vitamin E/scar treatment until fully healed. What about Neosporin? Will this help with the pain and healing? I feel like by just putting Vaseline on the site, there is no cleansing of the wound, and Neosporin will provide some anti-biotic care? I don't want to go against the recommendation of your doctor, so before you change your treatment regimen, please discuss it with your doctor. |
