Piercings Take Care??

I Decided to ask my question here because i feel that there is allot of people here to answer stuff like this.. i wanna ask u all.. i jus got my first ear piercing and i was wondering how to i take care of the wound to not turn septic and to heal properly....

Well, they say 6 weeks, but it shouldnt take long.Leave it in,but...go around it with a q-tip soaked in some alcohol.Once it heals, take the ear rings out and soak them in alcohol and clean your ear using the same method with the q-tip it will keep it from getting infected.Congratulations on your first peircing!

JUST DONT GO PLAYIN WITH THE PIGS DUDE
U HAVE TO BE REALLY STUPID FOR UR PIERCINGS TO GET INFECTED

ok your ear isnt that hard to take care of. when you get it pierced they should give you a lil bottle of liquid to put on it. when you apply it you need to twist the earring to keep it from healing up around the earring. it should heal fairly fast and you shouldnt have a problem. just make sure to apply your medicine and not get it ripped out and you will be good.

Use soem antiseptic spray called Bactine. You can pick it up at your local drug store.Trust me on this.I used it for when I had my belly pierced. It works.

just dab some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and wash ear with that and turn the earring. It will prevent infection.

keep it clean. if they gave u solution to clean it with, use it. turn the earring all the time without pulling on it. no hairspray, no gel near it.

The piercing parlor, should have instructed you on how to care for it. If you did it yourself, go to a tattoo and piercing parlor, and they will fill you in!

The best way is to apply the liquid they gave you when you got it pierced as noted per instructions on the bottle. You don't need to do anything else. It is the simplest thing you can do besides not doing anything at all and even that works for some.

The bottle of liquid they give at like Claires or Icing is a huge no-no especially for sensitive ears!! Just plain old orange Dial soap 2-3 times a day for a month or so. Peroxide will make and infection worse. Steer clear or of Piercing Guns, they are magnets for infections and can lead to Hep.

They should have told you this where u got it pierced. Best thing to use is antibacterial soap. nothing iwth alchohol in it. alchohol will irratate it more n take long er to heal n may get infected. Also dont play with it or handle it. and give it a couple weeks ull be fine.
