Wound Wash Saline for Navel Piercing??

Has anyone used Wound Wash Saline for taking care of their navel ring? The piercing lady told me to get just a saline solution like for contacts, but it had alot of other stuff in it. thanks for any answers!!

I wouldn't use either. Saline solutino has too many other things in it. This wound wash seems to have better ingredients, but it says the pressure cleans the wound, external use only. You want to be gentle with a new piercing, not use pressure to flush it out. And it's a puncture wound, so you're not only dealing with an external injury.
Just go to the grocery store, get some sea salt. It's super easy- get a cup (I use a coffee cup), fill it with tap water, add 1/8 tsp sea salt (which isn't much and you can eyeball after you do it a couple of times). Stick it in the microwave for 30 seconds or so. Then dip/spoon into a shot glass and just put that over the piercing. With a little practice, you can get a good seal so it's not even messy. You want the warmth and the salt to work together to gently soak the piercing, pulling out any infection. You're not really washing it or flushing it. Just soaking. Then you just lightly rinse so you don't have dried salt on your stomach later. Sea salt a couple of time a day along with gentle soap washing in the shower should be all you need. The soaks actually feel really good. The heat is really soothing. I usually do 2 or 3 shot glasses in a row just because it feels nice.
This is the easiest, cheapest, most pure way you'll find to heal your piercing. Good luck, and remember, navel piercings take easily 6-12 months to heal completely.

I just made sure to wash it a couple times a day to make sure that it doesnt get infected and also i put neosporin to heal and to make sure that the ring will move and not get stuck

I used a sea salt solution in water, but I'm sure the product you described would work well if its especially for a navel piercing. Don't use the contact solution! It will make your navel ring more irritated.

When I got mine done, it got infected twice within the first 6 mths. I found that warm salt water solution I made with real sea salt twice a day with neosporin afterwards did the trick. Throughout the day though when my piercing started to itch, i would use my contact lense saline solution. I always buy the cheap generic saline solution, so I dont think the brand matters. I wouldnt use the saline as the main way of cleaning your piercing , but i definitely recommend using it through out the day.
