Best wound care products for surgical incision? |
What do I put on a 20cm surgical incision located on my lower abdomen to heal the wound and leave a barely-there scar? I've gotten surgery before. I found a product that really works. I'd check with the doctor first.... Take lots of vitamian E 1000 IU. And I saw on the news that if you can afford it Botox keeps the muscles relaxed so there is no pulling. They showed pics and it was wow. Maybe you can google it. Good Luck Just gentle soap and water. Don't scrub, that will aggravate it. They have an ointment called Mederma that reduces the appearance of a scar. You can get it pretty much anywhere- and while it is expensive, it does work.
