I am looking for a wound care specialist in alb,renss,troy area do you know of any? |
MY DAD HAS DIABETES REALLY BAD AND HE WAS SEEIN THIS WOUND CARE SPECIALIST IN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND HE DIDNT LIKE HIM CAUSE HE WAS VERY ROUGH WITH THE WOUND-PLEASE HELP ME FIND ONE This isn't what you want to hear, but wound care doctors are not known for their gentle touch. From what I've heard from friends, visits to see one of those guys is always painful. Any wound specialist in the area will be associated with the hospital, check and see if the wound clinic has another physician associated with it. Explain to this physician your concerns over the previous visit, but often these wounds need to be opened up again and dead tissue cleared away. |

I use to work at a hospital (UT Medical Center, Knoxville) and there were PT/WCT that took the patient to Whirlpool to change bandages and do wound care etc. I don't know what the pay was lik... You could be shaking and sweating because you have an infection. These kind of infections are VERY serious. You must seek hepl immediately. If you absolutely cannot go to the emergency room then... I hope that your wound will be cultured (some drainage sent to the lab) to see if you may have a MRSA (methicillin resistant staph aureus) infection. If it is MRSA, you will need certain antibiotic... I am a Physical Therpist and have worked and continue to work with wounds and wound care. The wound definitely seems infected from the way you describe it, most wounds are to certain extents. Your... Try Rite-Aid and/or Drugstore.com... ... Believe it or not, you can use Neosporin. I prefer water based ointments so you can wash the stuff off when you need too, although I have used Corona Ointment and like the results. Furizone is ...
